The City of Dunedin Pipe Band, from the Tampa Bay area of Florida, fields competitive Grade III and Grade IVA pipe bands registered with the Southern United States Pipe Band Association (SUSPBA). Our organization was founded in 1964 and since then has actively supported the education of our community in the Scottish arts. We will provide avenues for all members to participate and perform and encourage the promotion of all talented musicians to the premier competitive unit within the organization.

P&D INTERVIEW WITH PIPE MAJOR SANDY KEITH:

Since the early 1980's, Sandy Keith has been the instructor and director of the piping program at Dunedin High School on Florida's gorgeous Gulf Coast. Employed by the City of Dunedin, Keith has built the program to the point where it supports five bands (including Grade III City of Dunedin Pipe Band), dozens of soloists, and hundreds who have learned piping and drumming through the system. Indeed, thanks chiefly to Sandy Keith's efforts, central Florida is a hotbed of emerging piping and drumming talent.
